Colour is everywhere. It is in the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the walls that surround us, and the products we buy. It has a huge impact on the way we live our lives. It affects our emotions, the way we feel, our actions, and our decisions.

This project involves research on how we are affected by colour in various aspects of our lives. The goal of the research is to achieve an understanding of how colours make us feel – physically, emotionally and psychologically. By achieving this goal, we can use this knowledge to our advantage.

VIBE features eight chapters that go in depth about the primary and secondary colours- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, as well as black and white. Each chapter talks about colour within the body, colour within the mind, colour within space, colour with design, and colour within fashion. There is also a visual language present throughout each chapter that is meant to visually communicate feelings associated with the colour of the chapter.
